It took one extra frame & use of the new international tie breaker rule for the Okotoks Dawgs to sneak past The Mavericks at Athletic Park. After being down early, the Dawgs clawed back to tie the game and send it to extra innings. The international tie breaker rule calls for starting the extra frame with runners on 1st and 2nd base with no one out, and the Dawgs cashed them in. Great night at the park, Mavs look forward to the rematch on June 29th back at Athletic Park.
This was the Mavericks first loss in 2022.
