We’re excited to present four outstanding expert coaches who’ll be joining our free online info session—bringing firsthand knowledge of recruiting, scholarships, and collegiate level transitions.
John McVey (NJCAA: Southeastern Community College)
John currently serves on the baseball coaching staff at Southeastern Community College (West Burlington, Iowa). With experience at the junior-college level, John understands how student-athletes position themselves for next-step opportunities and how coaches evaluate talent in that environment.
Geoff White (CCBC: Okanagan College)
Geoff is Head Coach of the baseball program at Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC. He’s led the program for multiple seasons, bringing a pro-player background and proven results—his team captured national championships under his leadership. Coach White’s insight will be especially valuable for athletes considering Canadian schools or cross-border recruitment.
Ryan Reed (NAIA: Mid-America Christian University → Head Coach for the Mavericks in 2026)
Ryan has been with Mid‑America Christian University (MACU) as a graduate assistant coach and was part of a record-setting season there. Ryan brings recent playing experience, strong recruiting background, and fresh perspective on what student-athletes need to know today.
Sal Rodriguez (NCAA: Minot Sate University & Our Panel’s Softball Expert)
Sal is our panel’s softball specialist: a former athlete at Minot State University who set records in his playing years and then moved into coaching and athletics administration. As a proud Mavs alumnus and 2018 champion, Sal now supports softball-families navigating recruiting and is the head coach of Minot’s NCAA Softball team, making him perfectly suited to speak to the female student-athlete journey.
